Why Pictag exists
Preparing large image collections for stock marketplaces is repetitive. Titles, descriptions, keywords, review, CSV formatting and submission requirements create work long after the images themselves are finished. Pictag exists to reduce that preparation time.
The workflow
Pictag is built around one narrow sequence: Upload → Tag → Review → Export → Distribute. It is not intended to be a general AI workspace.
Free Manual Tagging
Free accounts use Manual Tagging. A single title, description and keyword set can be applied to batches of up to 2,000 images without spending Pictag Credits.
Paid Smart AI Tagging
Users who need unique metadata per image can purchase non-expiring credits. Smart AI Tagging analyses images individually and generates distinct titles, descriptions and keyword sets.
Marketplace exports
Pictag supports generic CSV export plus marketplace-oriented presets. Adobe Stock and Shutterstock are the first dedicated targets. Export fields will be maintained around the marketplaces' real submission requirements rather than a generic one-size-fits-all format.
Distribution
The distribution layer will be implemented marketplace by marketplace after each destination's forms, required metadata and submission rules are mapped. Pictag will not claim direct distribution for a marketplace until that workflow is actually supported.
